My Top Favourite Client Moment
When I think of favourite client moments, the very first that comes to mind is with Dianne & Craig. We sold their family home in The Kingsway in Etobicoke because they had finally decided to leave Toronto and head back to Almonte where Dianne grew up.
The set up.
The house a few houses down from her parents home came up on the market and Dianne and Craig new that it was exactly where they wanted to spend their empty nest years nestled along the Mississippi River in Almonte Ontario.
Knowing that, they asked me to represent them on this purchase and I was happy to do so. Dianne & Craig placed an offer on the property conditional on a home inspection that was accepted by the sellers. We all drove out to the home to complete a home inspection.
Here comes my favourite client moment.
Dianne & Craig were reviewing the home inspection with the inspector surrounded by their 2 children and Dianne’s parents. After reviewing the minor fixes and standing together in the light of the sun looking towards the river … they said “lets remove the condition … this is our home”.
Hugs and tears. So privileged to be a part of their story. I will never forget it. And I can’t wait to see the finished product after their renovations are complete.
